So happy to learn that there are good folks caring for this Ginkgo in Capitol Park. I found out from my last post that the dog pee platform is permeable and that more trees and nicer home are on the horizon. Thanks @lanatuck and @downtowndet Tree peo

Concerning Detroit's oldest Gingko: does anyone know about this tiny box they put her in a few years ago?

Anyone know if this AstroTurf stage is permeable? Cuz if it's not we're really starving her vast root system of water and nutrients.

Trees, River, and sky

Hey, we're making a neat little path through the arb. So satisfying to see people use it. Anyone want to help last bricks we're only half done.

Rescued trees. I'm very happy about this little spot with Crab in front of Cedars on front of Lilac, Sugars in foreground. They were all struggling little sun beaten scrubs when I planted them nine years ago. Never let a tree die out of the ground. T

Good sidewalks lead to trees. Since nobody uses sidewalks in Detroit the trees be walking everywhere.

Were up on our Beech game over here.

Baby Oak Leaves are such exquisite petals. These are all separate trees in the arboretum.

Love that this Blue Spruce is hugging the old telephone pole, formerly known as Red Pine. She's been planning this for years. Congratulations.
